The Tudor Arms is a family run, very busy country pub with 12 hotel bedrooms (more currently being added) . We pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and satisfaction.
We are located less than a mile from Slimbridge wetlands centre , and adjacent to the Gloucester- Sharpness canal and a very busy, popular camp site.
As a business we take great pride in the cleanliness of our premises. To that end we are looking for a Cleaner to join our team and help keep our premises in a clean and orderly condition. The successful candidate will be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and other cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate should have very good attention for detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in their work. We are looking for a candidate who can work 3 mornings Monday-Friday assisting with cleaning the main Pub building (7-10am), and then work weekends cleaning both the Pub and our separate hotel accommodation next door (7:30-1:30 approx - higher rate applies at the weekend) - You will also be required to cover holiday/sickness leave as necessary.
Own transport is essential due to our location and start times. We are at least one mile from the nearest bus stop and about 2 miles from Cam and Dursley Train Station
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise all areas of the building.
- Vacuum carpets and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture.
- Empty waste bins and replace bin liners.
- Mop floors and clean windows.
- Clean bathrooms, toilets, showers, and sinks.
- Any other task reasonably associated with keeping the premises clean
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
