Field Service Outage Manager [Sweden]


 

Job Description Summary

As a Field Service Outage Manager you will be responsible for conducting outage activities related to rotating equipment (Turbo Generator machines) in the Nuclear industry and you will require resources, and logistics to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. This includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), maintenance facilities and field services engineering. This role will require you to be responsible for departmental operations planning as well as the execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. The job allows you to modify procedures and practices covering work process as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Outage event schedule development, Outage execution management, post Outage reporting, and Outage warranty execution
  • Direct people management responsibilities including staffing and performance development. Utilizing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; be aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experienced accumulated in both technical and managerial relevant experience is similar position.
  • Advanced experience in the Services & Outage
  • Excellent Leadership and anagement skills
  • English and Swedish languages both required

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
