Gray Fox Coffee and Wine, located in the Deluxe Plaza at 801 Marquette Ave, is looking to add a Coffee Shop Manager to our team! You will be managing a coffee shop that consists of around 4-8 staff members. This is a hybrid role which requires about 20% management and 80% on the floor barista service duties. Our ideal candidate would have experience in both operating as a barista, food prep and some amount of management and leadership. Most importantly, we are looking for someone that has a positive attitude, is teachable and loves working as a team. The position is hourly and is tip eligible while functioning as a barista in a direct service role. You will receive paid time off and have a dedicated parking spot if commuting by car.
You are working daytime during Monday-Friday with no nights or weekends required. Our operating hours are 7:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday-Friday (coffee, breakfast and wine/happy hour service).
Qualifications:

History of effective leadership and success
Service industry experience
Strong references
Ability to learn and use basic technology (POS system (Toast), online platforms, computer)
Serve Safe Certified or willing to become certified
Understand profit and loss for coffee shop/restaurant
Responsibilities:
Schedule staff for maximum efficiency and best customer service
Clearly delegates duties to staff
Maintain sanitation standards
Update POS for product quantities and new menu items
Ensure food/drink quality and availability. Avoid food waste.
Ensure customer satisfaction and foster positive work environment. Happy employees equals happy customers.
Ensure all equipment is in operating condition
Hiring/training/corrective actions/firing
Weekly food and beverage orders
Payroll
Communicates clearly with staff, district manager, owner, building management
