Our team is happy to welcome you. Here is what you will be doing if you choose to join the team:
- As a project quality engineer (EPQ) you will accompany development projects with a focus on systems and software from acquisition to the start of series production;
- You are an independent consultant and coach/contact person for quality issues and, as an active part of the project team, contribute to a high-quality product, especially in the system/software area;
- Based on your expertise, as part of the project team, you will work out preventive quality assurance measures along the value chain, implement them together with the team and the project management, and make a significant contribution to reaching the project milestones;
- You confidently coach and advise the project teams on quality issues along the V model, as well as on management and support processes;
- You represent the product quality independently to various stakeholder groups: from management to our internal and external customers;
- With an independent, objective and fact-based assessment of the project status and product maturity, you create transparency, identify risks and provide the basis for decisions;
- Last but not least, you will work closely with software development teams and teams in other regions and provide support in quality methods and Automotive SPICE;
- With a pragmatic mindset you ensure the value contribution of the EPQ in the project.
Who you are:
- You have an University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics or comparable;
- You have several years of experience in system/software development (C++, Clean Code, etc), as well as the associated processes and tools (GIT, BitBucket, CI/CX, JIRA, Doors) in the automotive industry;
- You have knowledge of project and/or quality management;
- You have Knowledge of development-related methods (e.g. FMEA) and standards (e.g. ISO26262, MISRA, etc.), process maturity models (e.g. ASPICE) are desirable but not mandatory. We require the willingness to deal with these topics and to familiarize yourself with them.
We would also appreciate:
- Interest and enthusiasm for quality issues in development projects, implementation and communication skills, teamwork, analytical, careful, structured and especially independent and assertive;
- Motivation and commitment to get involved, learn and contribute to the development of leading edge technologies in collaboration with a global network of experts;
- Self-organized and able to estimate, prioritize and schedule own tasks;
- Target, process and quality orientation.
The languages you should know:
- English – very good knowledge writing and speaking
- German – can be an advantage
