This role will allow the individual to play a primary role in executing orders on behalf of the Global Markets desk. The successful candidate will work closely with our counterparties to ensure world-class investment execution.

You will also be a self-starter and eager to pursue further growth. The core responsibility of the role is facilitating client orders by using algorithms to ensure best execution outcomes.

How will I help?
This is a really important role for us! A challenging opportunity exists within Global Investment Services for an enthusiastic Associate to join our Sydney-based Global Markets team. The Team is responsible for the risk-managed distribution of the Global Markets service proposition to self-directed wholesale clients. A key success factor of the role is how you work with your key stakeholders – Private Bankers, Global Markets Directors and Global Investment Services Directors. You will help to build a client service strategy including welcome calls and outbound calling to our client base. You will continually observe and analyse financial markets, sharing insights and commentary with both internal stakeholders as well as clients.

What do I need?
We’d love to hear from people who have a passion for high quality service, financial markets and investments. A natural detailed-person, you’ll have excellent communication skills and have work experience in a banking/finance/investment environment with a track record of high achievement. Qualifications considered a statutory requirement for this Role: RG146 Qualifications considered a WBC requirement for this Role: Degree in relevant studies (commerce, economics, or business) and CFA is highly regarded but not essential. Experience with Excel, Iress, Refinitv/Eikon and Bloomberg would be advantageous.
